Job Description

Reporting to the RVP M&S, implementation of talent acquisition sales and marketing processes, procedures, and systems in compliance with all relevant employment regulations across international locations. The role supports the determination of region-specific.

The Recruiting Manager will work with the site Human Resources and associates at each location within his/her region to understand and define their staffing requirements and to provide subject matter expertise to develop candidate specifications that will meet business needs as appropriate. The associate keeps up to date with recruiting methods and maintaining good relationships with local Human Resources recruiters, this role will concentrate on all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle. In this role, there may be a need to travel approximately twenty-five percent (25%) of the time.

  • Oversees the recruiting operations, contributing to team, department and/or business results by performing more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.

Using appropriate MVW interviewing tools to hire the best people available from inside or outside.

  • Supports senior associates in achieving business results by:

Identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes.

Providing training and technical guidance to the team, where appropriate, and serving as point-of-contact for problem resolution.

Participating in setting department operating plans.

Recognizing and celebrating team successes.

Achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility.

  • Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.
  • Performs other duties as appropriate.

Specific Expected Contributions

  • Manages sales and marketing recruiting for the region.
  • Manages aspects of the lifecycle recruitment process including intake, sourcing, screening, and arranging interviews with applicants.
  • Check accurate requisition and candidate information in applicant tracking system by working with Human Resources on selected candidates and moving them through the appropriate status steps and send appropriate/ approved candidate communication as needed.
  • Liaise with Human Resources to Generate qualified candidates through cost-effective efforts including internet, job fairs, social media, promoting the referral program, college visits, etc. Revise strategy if needed to obtain more qualified applicants.
  • Would utilize various recruitment methods within the region, depending on the response rates,

including:

Liaise with Human Resources to

  • posting on Job Boards
  • placing adverts in local press
  • hosting career nights
  • having a presence at job fairs.
  • Works directly with Change Management/Internal Communications to ensure you are following new policies, processes, tools, etc. are communicated to the end users in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Surfaces any recruiting issues at the site with the potential to escalate to the site leaders.
  • Liaise with Human Resources and helps with Recruiting-related processes pertinent to the sites in the region.
  • Liaise with Human Resources to harness the increasing capabilities of technology within in the Recruiting world, with specific emphasis on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc.).
  • Connect with managers for a thorough understanding of department culture & regularly meet with managers to build strong and trusting relationships and better understand hiring needs.
  • Meet with hiring managers to discuss candidates and the recruiting process. Provide follow up and recruitment strategy revision as needed. Serve as a talent advisor for staffing decisions with knowledge of the organization and expertise for external markets.

People Management

  • Communicates new policies and procedures to team members through team meetings to ensure consistency as well as accuracy.
  • Prepare and conducts performance appraisals and interim reviews for new and existing direct reports according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Interviews candidates for new positions and trains new associates in all aspects of the job function.
  • Ensures Sales Administrators are properly trained to perform all tasks required in accordance with essential job functions of the position.
  • Acts a professional role model for not only NOA associates but also as a business professional representing the site and MVCI.
  • Performs related tasks as assigned.

Specific Candidate Profile

Education

  • Degree in a related professional area or minimum of 3 years related work experience in a management position -or related degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • 3 years of progressive Human Resources/Talent Acquisition experience required.
  • On-property resort or hotel experience/knowledge preferred.
  • Experience working in a high volume, high turnover recruiting area is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in high volume, fast-paced, results oriented business environments with prior experience in the direct day-to-day supervision of hourly associates.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment, lead a successful team and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manages multiple priorities, and be a self-starter.

Skills & Attributes:

Principles:  Working knowledge of recruitment and country laws relating to recruitment.

Extensive knowledge and experience in recruitment and regulations as they relate.

Analytical/Critical Thinking - The ability to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process; recognize patterns and relationships in complex data; examine data to identify implications, problems and draw appropriate conclusions; generate alternative solutions to problems; evaluate strengths, weaknesses and consequences of alternative solutions and approaches to solving problems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Computer Skills in Microsoft software applications such as Excel and Word Writing.

Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.  Must be able to meet deadlines.

Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Must have excellent people skills.
