Provide support to the Activities Department
Job Summary
The Activities Trainee helps to manage the day-to-day operations of the Activities Team. You as a student will assist the department and ensure total guest satisfaction with providing excellent level of service at all time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist on the day to day operations in the Kids Club.
- Help with the planning of new activities, games and crafts.
- Excellent organizational skills and good team player.
- Ensure safety and security of all guest, especially in the Kids club.
- Do inventory checks of operating equipment.
- Inspects the physical condition of sports materials and all activities areas.
- Ensures all operating standards comply with company policies.
- Assist to periodic meetings to review procedures with the Activities Team.
- Assist in the organization of events at resort as required.
- To be familiar with Activities environment and apply to company standards.
- Be familiar with all Resort Activities on site.
- File information.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENT.
- Bending, kneeling, running, jumping and climbing of 5 flights of stairs.
- Visual observation.
- Walking and working outside of air-controlled areas.
OTHER:
- Arrive in proper uniform with name tag and conduct yourself professionally when on property and ensure that the daily assignments are completed as scheduled.
- Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work place.
- Maintain an attitude and commitment to provide excellent service to all customers and associates. Respond sensitively to the needs and feelings of others, regardless of status or position; accept interpersonal differences and maintain a constructive rapport with all associates and customers.
- Be proactive and have a flexible approach to work, meeting the needs of the team and the business always.
Minimum Requirements
- Student currently studying at an university necessary for the ‘collaboration contract’ (Spanish laws)
- Students need valid work papers to legally have permission to work in Spain
- Student must speak fluent English or Spanish (student preferably speaks both)
- Student needs to have skills such as discipline, teamwork and open-minded
